Elizabeth Butler Hamilton

Elizabeth Butler Hamilton, 84, of Milledgeville, GA formerly of Eatonton, GA died Monday, June 19, 2017. She was born in Pelham, GA on August 7, 1932 to the late G. W. Butler and Fannie Mae Butler. She graduated from Pelham High School and after high school she married Frank Hamilton, Jr. on August 6, 1951.  She was a homemaker raising three sons and a daughter.  Elizabeth and her husband lived in Eatonton and after his death in April of 2009, she moved to Milledgeville to be closer to family. She was a member of Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church in Eatonton, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Hamilton, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Hamilton Weekly of Eatonton, GA; three sons, Frank J. Hamilton, III of Loganville, GA, Jeff Hamilton of Suwanee, GA and Brian Hamilton of Milledgeville, GA; five grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA with Rev. Marion Clark officiating.
