Elizabeth Gertrude Baugh

Elizabeth Gertrude Baugh, age 82, of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away on January 6, 2013 at St. Mary''s Good Samaritan Hospital. She had been a resident of Boswell Parker Nursing Center since 2008. She was born on March 9, 1930 to the late Carl Little Baugh and Rilla Weatherford Baugh. She attended Greensboro High School and for many years was a sales clerk at the Interstate 5 & 10 in Greensboro. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greensboro, a member of the Amicus Sunday School Class and the Golden Tones. She enjoyed flowers and vegetable gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Dean Rizner and husband Francis of Greensboro, two grandsons, Jason Rizner and wife Rebekah of Eatonton, Georgia and Timothy Rizner and wife Katie of Warthen, Georgia; two great grandchildren, Kaylee Elizabeth Rizner and Preston Matthew Rizner. She is also survived by a special and devoted nephew, Jackie Harper of Greensboro. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack C. Harper of Union Point.

Visitation will be Monday evening at McCommons Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at McCommons Chapel Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Hermann officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery, Memorial Drive in Greensboro. Serving as pallbearers are Bobby Voyles, David Kopp, Rick Ward, Richard Tolbert, Warren Weatherford, Alvin Dowdy and Chris Mann.
