Edward Lee “Bubba” Sellers, 59, of Macon, Georgia formerly of the Greshamville Community died Wednesday, July 13, 2011. He was born January 7, 1952 to the late Lee Roy Sellers and Geneva Nora Greeson Sellers. He attended Greene County High School. Bubba was a master carpenter and wood worker making furniture mostly in the Amish style. His hobbies were gardening, grilling, cooking, fishing and playing the guitar. He especially enjoyed being with his family and playing with his dogs.
He is survived by four sisters, Janice S. Daniel and husband Herby of the Greshamville Community, Rita Smith and husband Fletcher “Doc” of Carlton, GA, Jody Sellers of Madison, GA and Cheryl LaPalme and husband Carl of Watkinsville, GA; nieces and nephew, Angela Howard, Amy Daniel, Russell Daniel, Pamela Brester, Jessica Fletcher, Natalie Horton and Beth Cathey; and a number of great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by his extended family, Roxanne Benge, Amber and William Davies and their son Maddox and Breanna and George Bassett and their son Little George and Cassidy Benge; and his beloved dogs, Butter, Missy, Mattie and Lucky.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1400 Farmington Road, Madison, GA 30650 (Greshamville) with Rev. Mike Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are William Malcom, Dennis Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Ulysses Bass, Corry Copelan, Jackie Copelan and Billy Duvall.
