Edith Marie Poole Duvall, age 83, of Siloam, Georgia, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her residence.  Mrs. Duvall was born August 28, 1931, in Watkinsville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Coleman Poole and Katie Giles Poole.  She graduated from Oconee High School and was a member of the Baptist Church in Farmington. For a while she worked at the Aluminum Enterprise Plant in Eatonton, GA until she married John Frank Duvall and moved to Greene County.  Along with being a homemaker, Mrs. Duvall worked with her husband on the family dairy farm.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, puzzle books and growing flowers of all kinds.

Mrs. Duvall was preceded in death by her husband John Frank Duvall in July of 1986.  Survivors include a son, John Coleman “Buddy” Duvall of Siloam, GA; three daughters, Mary Sue Daniel (John) of Villa Rica, GA, Sandra Duvall of Siloam, GA and Frances Duvall of Lawrenceburg, TN; sister, Barbara Steele; grandchildren, Chris Daniel, David Daniel (Rebecca), Timothy Duvall (Lindsey), Bethany Sisseck, Tamara Sisseck, Brittany Sisseck and Matthew Sisseck, Jr.; great grandchildren, Patrick Daniel, Henry Daniel, Austin Duvall, Autumn Duvall, Taylor Shuman, Elizzabeth Sisseck, Kaycen Sisseck, Jualian Lopez and Zhayne Sisseck; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Siloam Cemetery, Church Street, Siloam, GA 30665 with Rev. Dennis Garner officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday night at McCommons funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
