Dorothy Helen White Wright

Wright/Horvath Dorothy Wright, age 92 of Canal Winchester, Ohio died on Monday, February 13, 2006 at her daughter’s home in Eatonton, GA. She was born Dorothy Helen White in Carroll, Ohio on March 7, 1913 to the late William and Sarah White and was the youngest of nine children. She married Homer Wright on December 27, 1936 and celebrated 42 years of marriage before his death in 1978. She also celebrated a second marriage of 14 years with Alex Horvath who passed away in 2000. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Carolyn Wright Oshinsky; grandson Josh Oshinsky and wife Christina and great-grandson Zach of CA; granddaughter Allison Harmon and husband Chris and great-grandson Nate of MA; granddaughter Sarah McKeon and husband Rod of CA; stepson Jack Horvath and wife Jeri of MO; stepdaughter Wilma Mesaros of FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy will be remembered for her active life with her many friends and family. Her early life was spent in the rural farm community, while in later life she very much enjoyed her times at the Senior Center. She devoted some 60 years working on the local election board. A celebration of life service will be held at the Dwayne Spence Funeral Home in Canal Winchester, Ohio on Sunday, February 19th, at 2:00 PM. Private burial will be at the Carroll Cemetery.
