Diane Cherniski Rineer

Diane Rineer passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, at the age of 61 at St. Mary''s Hospice House, Bogart, GA. Born in Delaware County, Pennsylvania on April 18, 1948, she was the daughter of Mary Cherniski of Greensboro, GA and the late Andrew Cherniski. Diane graduated from Claymont High School in Claymont, Delaware. She was employed by Hercules and the DuPont Company in Wilmington, Delaware.

Diane was predeceased by her father, Andrew Cherniski. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Bill Rineer; her mother Mary Cherniski; two sisters, Pat Chapman and Katherine Calhoun and her husband Richard, all from Greensboro, GA; and a brother Mike Cherniski and his wife Janice of Watkinsville, GA. She is also survived by two nieces, Susan Pope and her husband Nick and their children, George and Jillian, of Suwanee, GA; and Linda Downey and her husband Chad and their children, Elle and Emre, of Buford, GA. Diane also leaves behind many friends in Delaware as well as in Georgia.

Diane lived life to the fullest and in her own way. She loved her lake home and her cats. She was full of fun and everyone who met her loved her. She was taken from us much too soon and she will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Oconee Regional Humane Society, ORHS, 6350 Lake Oconee Parkway, Suite 102, PMB 178, Greensboro, GA 30642.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Harbor Club Clubhouse, Greensboro, Georgia. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
