Barbara Diane Moody Morrow

Barbara Diane Moody Morrow, age 66, of Union Point, GA, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Gentiva Hospice in Athens, GA.  A lifelong resident of Greene County, she was born January 16, 1948 to the late Bennie Penion Moody and Sara Marian Torbert Moody.  She grew up and attended school in Union Point, GA.  For a while she worked for Lena Hy Garment Company in Greensboro, but most of her life she was a homemaker.  Diane was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union Point.  She enjoyed cooking, painting, sewing, and working in her yard with flowers.

She is survived by her husband Talmadge Morrow of Union Point, GA; a number of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 1400 Farmington Road, Madison, GA 30650 (Greshamville) with Rev. Mike Pritchett officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Reuben Morrow, Danny Coker, Tommy Henry, Jackie Copelan and James Morrow.  The family will receive friends at McCommons Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
