Daniel Lee Brooks

Daniel Lee “Danny” Brooks, age 41, of Commerce, GA, died Tuesday, August 17, 2004. Born November 5, 1962 he was the son of the late Curtis Eugene Brooks and Mary Elizabeth Collins Brooks. Danny attended Greene County Schools and was self employed as a painter and plumber. He was a member of Centennial Baptist Church of Rutledge, GA. He is survived by his wife, Ronda Ulbrich Brooks of Commerce, GA; a daughter, Olivia Hedi Brooks of Rayle, GA; a stepdaughter, Roni Lee Boyer of Commerce, GA; a son, Joseph Daniel Brooks of Rayle, GA; a stepson, Ronald Eric Boyer of Commerce, GA; a sister, Dolores Hardy and husband Dan of Greensboro, GA; a brother, Curtis Brooks and wife Janice of Greensboro, GA; and a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Jean Brooks. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Union Point with Rev. Colin Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are George Brooks, David Brooks, Glenn Barnett, Jared Copelan, Lee Tarpley and Russell Scarbrough.
