Cynthia Leigh “Cindy” King, 28, of Greensboro, GA, formerly of Watkinsville, GA, died Saturday, January 16, 2010. She was born in Greene County on December 6, 1981 to Melvin Ray King and Beverly Lynn Clay King. Cindy attended school in Oconee County and for a while delivered pizza. She was a sports enthusiasts and especially enjoyed Georgia sports and NASCAR Racing. She also enjoyed using her computer and talking with her friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Haleigh Padron of Watkinsville, GA and Cayla Evans of Greensboro, GA; two sons, Dustin Lee King of Watkinsville, GA and Ryan Evans of Greensboro, GA; a sister, Angela Lynn Higginbotham and husband Scott of Bishop, GA; a brother, Chatmon Ray King of Statham, GA; maternal grandmother, Luna Mae Clay of High Shoals, GA; paternal grandmother, Nora King of Greensboro, GA; and many other relatives and lots of friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Early Clay and paternal grandfather, Melvin Franklin King.
Graveside Services will be held at the Greensboro City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Greensboro, GA on Friday, January 22, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Walter Baker, Jeff Baker, Wade Baker, Jimmy Baker, Tony McCannon and Jason Carnes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at McCommons Funeral Home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
