Cora Belle Kitchen Duvall

Cora Belle Kitchen Duvall, age 84, of the Greshamville Community, died Monday, December 26, 2005 at St. Mary''s Hospital in Athens. Born in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania on June 4, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Vincent Mearl Kitchen and Hazel Shope Kitchen. She attended Clearfield County High School in Westover, PA. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Duvall was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Greshamville, was on the Greene County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and a member of Meadowcrest Women''s Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Harold "Bill" Duvall; stepmother, Sara Kitchen; and a sister, Marintha Mae "Rincie" Meckley. She is survived by three sons, Jerry William Duvall and wife Kay of Douglasville, GA, Vincent "Zippy" Duvall and wife Bonnie of the Greshamville Community and Forrest Harold Duvall and wife Kim of Douglasville, GA; a sister, Florance Hoffman of the Greshamville Community; nine grandchildren, Lisa D. Finch, Nicole D. Crook, Vince Duvall, Corrie Duvall, Zeb Duvall, Zellie Duvall, Jessie Duvall, Caitlin Duvall and Alex Duvall; two great grandchildren, Ethan Finch and Kaely Finch; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Greshamville with Rev. Mike Pritchett and Rev. Durell Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Danny Duvall, Wynn Copelan, Tim Duvall, Jackie Copelan, Ray Sellers and Charles Crumbley. Honorary pallbearers are Darien Finch, Ronnie Sellers, Jason Crook, Robert Duvall, Dan Duvall, Billy Duvall and Ricky Sellers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
