Cleveland Codale Troutt, Jr

Cleveland Codale “Dale” Troutt, Jr., age 59, of Greensboro, GA, passed on Friday, December 17, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and daughter. Born July 12, 1951 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Cleveland Codale Troutt, Sr. and Wynette Gill Troutt. He graduated from Headland High School in East Point, GA and in 1988 married the former Ella Christine Crawley. He retired as a truck driver for the United States Postal Service. His family moved from Riverdale to Union City and settled in Greensboro on the lake in 2000. Dale enjoyed fishing and watching the sunset. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ella Christine Troutt; daughter, Laura Troutt and her mother Linda Widzowski; daughters, Mellissa LaFoy and Michelle Rosecrans; dear nieces and nephews: Darrell Troutt Jr. and his wife Christy, Bobby Troutt, Cleveland Charles Troutt and his wife Sarah, and Wendy Troutt Gavin and her husband Thomas; brother, William Troutt and his children Natalie, Keith and Michael; grandchildren: Robert, Christopher, RitaAnn, Athen and Roman; great nieces and nephews: Lindsey, Gabriel, Ella, Grayson, Ethan, Stephen, Crystal, Austin, Destiny, and Justin; life-long friend, Larry Daniels; and last but not least, the only dog he ever spoiled, Skeeter “baby boy” Troutt. Dale was a great man of strength, principle, loyalty, and above all, love. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Farrett Boswell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at the funeral home. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
