Charlotte Ann Miller Ponder of Eatonton, GA, died Monday, October 26, 2015 at her residence. She was 77. She was born on June 10, 1938 to the late Roy Miller and Margaret Parker Miller both of Atlanta. She attended school at Russell High School. For many years she worked for J C Penny in Forest Park, GA and advanced as the Catalog Department Supervisor. Before retirement she travelled for J C Penny as a teacher. She was a member of Madison Christian Church in Madison, GA and a member of the Red Hats Society. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafts, and was very artistic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Kidd, Bill Gravitt and Harold Ponder; her sons, Kenny Kidd and Randy Kidd; and stepson, Donnie Ponder. She is survived by her devoted family, a daughter, Lisa Carter (Gary) of Clermont, FL; sons, Mike Kidd (Connie) of Stockbridge, GA and Keith Kidd (Conchita) of Stockbridge, GA; step-sons, Chris Ponder of Eatonton, GA and David Ponder (Shirley) of Hampton, GA; sisters, Shirley Felts (Marion) of Greensboro, GA and Sherry Sprayberry (Richard) of Zebulon, GA; 14 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren; and numerous friends.
Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Madison Christian Church, 1871 Atlanta Highway, Madison, GA 30650 with Minister Cory Thomas and Minister Marion Felts officiating. Graveside Service will follow Saturday afternoon at 2:45 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd., Jonesboro, GA 30236. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at the church. Serving as pallbearers are Keith Kidd, Kenny Kidd, Mike Reynolds, Garrett Carter, Justin Richards, and Chris Gibby. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Kidd, Gary Carter, Alan Kidd, and David Ponder.
