Charles Harold Williams, age 78, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA. Born in Atlanta, GA on August 29, 1934, he was the son of the late Charlie Neil Williams and Reba Boswell Williams. In 1953 he graduated from Greensboro High School. After high school he joined the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. After retiring from the Air Force he returned to Warner Robins in 1975 and worked in Civil Service at Warner Robins Air Force Base retiring again in 1995. He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and the San Marino Lodge #34 in Greensboro, GA.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Smith "Beth" Williams of Warner Robins, GA; two sons, Charles Thomas Williams of Sylvania, GA and Walter Scott Williams of Perry, GA; two sisters, Betty Jo Evans of Greensboro, GA and Ann Boswell of Greensboro, GA; two brothers, James Corry of Covington, GA and Bill Corry of Greensboro, GA; three grandchildren, Ryan Williams, Jonathan Williams and Chelsea Rhodes and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3091 Liberty Church Road, White Plains, GA 30678 with Rev. Tom Compton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until time for the service at Liberty United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
