Charles Lorenzo Dreyer

Charles Lorenzo Dreyer, age 63, of Athens, GA, formerly of Greensboro, GA, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Greene County on April 8, 1941, he was the son of the late Shelby Ernest Dreyer, Sr. and Mary Christine Nicholson Dreyer. He attended Greensboro School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Greensboro. A  Survivors include a sister, Sarah N. Parker of Greenville, SC; a brother, S. Ernest Dreyer of Reston, VA; three nieces, Elizabeth P. Halvorsen of Greenville, SC, Kathleen P. Barker of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Cynthia P. Kirby of Hilton Head, SC; six great nieces and nephews, J. Spencer Barker of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Scotty Barker of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Raquel Halvorsen of Greenville, SC, Danika Halvorsen of Greenville, SC, Nicole Halvorsen of Greenville, SC and Braxton Kirby of Hilton Head, SC. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anne N. Power. A  Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Greensboro City Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Long officiating.
