Charles Earl Bryan, age 74, of Union Point, GA, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Watkinsville, GA.  A lifelong resident of Union Point, GA, Charles was born June 2, 1943, one of three children of the late Leon and Willie Louise Mauldin Bryan.  Charles grew up and attended school in Union Point.  For four decades he worked for Chipman Union retiring in 2000.  Over the years he enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed visiting and talking with friends.  He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Union Point, GA.
  
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Nash Bryan.  He is survived by his children, Lynn Kitchens (Darryl) of Lexington, GA, Jennie Miller (Doug) of Bossier Parish, LA, Matt Bryan (Holly) of Union Point, GA, Katie Miller (Josh) of Sylvester, GA and Wesley Bryan (Macey) of Greensboro, GA; sister, Helen Catherine Yearwood (Bill) of Belton, TX; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.  
 
The family will be receiving friends and anyone else who wishes to come Sunday afternoon,  February 18, 2018 from 3-5 pm at Bethesda Baptist Church, 1560 Bethesda Church Road, Union Point, 30669.
