Born on December 6, 1941 in White Plains, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Pierce Gentry and Hollis Barnes Gentry. She graduated from Greensboro High School in the class of 1959 and married Rev. Henry Grady Walker on December 5, 1959. Carol was a gracious hostess and her home was full of joy and laughter. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church where she played the piano as a girl and then again after moving back to Greene County in 1973. She was a member of the WMU. Carol loved playing for the residents at Willow Run Retirement Home. Whatever she did was done with all her might. Carol was loved for her sweet and giving nature and will be greatly missed.
