Audrey Wilson Pair

Audrey Wilson Pair of Greensboro, GA, died Friday, February 23, 2018, at Seasons Hospice in Cumming, GA.  She was 89.  Audrey was born in Oakdale, TN on July 9, 1928, and was the daughter of the late J. R. and Laura Hyde Wilson.  She graduated from Fitzhugh High School in Smyrna, GA in 1946 and on December 20, 1948 she married Howard Stan Pair.  During her working career, she worked in the claims department for MARTA.  In 1986 while still living in Smyrna, GA, they bought a house in Greene County and became weekenders.  In 1997 after her husband retired, they moved to the lake house full time.  Audrey was a member of Walker United Methodist Church.  She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and watched them every opportunity she had. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Stan Pair on October 25, 2017.  She is survived by a grandson, Rhoby J. Luffman of Cumming, GA; brother, George Kreeger of Marietta, GA; great granddaughter, Taylor Linda Luffman; a number of other relatives and  friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Pair Luffman.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker United Methodist Church, 2730 Walker Church Road, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. John Pike officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Byron Lombard, Doug Burt, Tom Collier, Ray Caroland, Ken Langolf and Eddie Sheppard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time for the service at Walker United Methodist Church.  McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
