Ashley Huff Brooks

Ashley Nicole Huff Brooks, age 24, of Greensboro, GA, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Mary''s Good Samaritan Hospital. Born on April 16, 1988 in Athens, GA, she was the daughter of Tracey Branyan Laux of White Plains, GA and Kenneth Huff of Madison, GA. She was a 2006 graduate of Greene County High School. On April 17, 2012 she married George Eric Brooks. Ashley was a member of Mt. Stephens Baptist Church in White Plains, GA and also attended Bethel Baptist Church in Union Point, GA. She was a packager at Quail International in Greensboro, GA. Her many hobbies were drawing, listening to music, playing on her Ipad and phone and she also loved Sponge Bob.

In addition to her husband, George Eric Brooks of Greensboro, GA, she is survived by her mother, Tracey Laux and husband Terry of White Plains, GA and her father, Kenneth Huff and wife Norma of Madison, GA; her maternal grandparents, Brenda and Jim Edwards of White Plains, GA and Linda Branyan of Monticello, GA; paternal grandfather, Ronald Huff of Madison, GA; sisters, Kendra Pursell and Jim Gardner of Carrollton, GA and Jamie Stancil and husband Lee of Crawfordville, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Curtis Brooks and Janice of Greensboro, GA; great paternal grandparents-in-law, John and Margaret O''Neal of Greensboro, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack Branyan; her paternal grandmother, Jeanette Hannah Huff; and a sister, Reagan Marie Huff.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Stephens Baptist Church, Edwards Road, White Plains, GA 30678 with Rev. Eugene Bess, Rev. Dennis Garner and Rev. Bobby Tomlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are George Brooks, Lance Branyan, Tony Parker, Ray Davis, Jim Gardner and Lee Stancil.
