Annie Lee Chapman Corry, age 90, of Siloam, GA died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Greene Point Health Care Center in Union Point. A lifelong resident of Greene County born on July 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Robert Clinton Chapman and Ollie Belle Mathews Chapman. She attended school in Siloam. She was a homemaker and a member of Siloam Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Corry was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Theo Corry in 1984; and two brothers, Robert Owen "Johnny" Chapman and Edward Byron Chapman. She is survived by a son, Wayne Corry and wife Sadye June of Siloam, GA; four sisters, Carolyn C. "Carrie" Gentry of Greensboro, GA, Helen C. Ashley of Greensboro, GA, Joyce C. Webb of Greensboro, GA and Hilda C. Marshall of Eatonton, GA; a granddaughter, Georgia Corry Harkins and husband Phillip of Siloam, GA; and two great grandchildren, Madison Gabrielle Harkins and Ethan Corry Harkins; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Siloam Presbyterian Church with Rev. Gary Nicholas officiating. Interment will follow in the Siloam Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Robbie Chapman, Richard Marshall, Tony Thompson, Phillip Harkins, Ethan Harkins, Roger Webb, Bert Jacobs, Jerry Petterman and Gordon Bryan. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday night at the Funeral Home.
