Ann Lindsay Palmer George

Ann Lindsay Palmer George, age 73, of Union Point, Georgia died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Serenty Place in Dublin, Georgia.  She was born in Shelby, North Carolina on December 29, 1940 to the late Jim Hester Palmer and Mallie Ruth Lindsay Palmer. Growing up in North Carolina she trained and showed horses along with her father.  Ann worked as a Bank Teller and then as a receptionist for Dr. Lee Parker.  She was a member of Penfield Baptist Church.  

Ann was preceded in death by her husband James McCarty George on August 18, 2013.  She is survived by a daughter, Andrea Ruth Cronan and husband Joel of Eatonton, Georgia; sister, Jane Allen  of Clayton, Georgia; sister-in-law, Sara Ann Caldwell of Peachtree City, Georgia; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Penfield Cemetery, 1211 Cemetery Road, Penfield, Georgia 30669 with Rev.
