Ann Meister Cobb Akin, age 69, of Eatonton, GA, died Friday, October 26, 2007 at her home. She was born in Fulton County on March 20, 1938 to the late Benjamin Harrison Cobb and Ann Elizabeth Meister Cobb. She graduated from Shades Valley High School in Birmingham, AL and attended Auburn University. Ann was an Administrative Assistant at Alabama Power Company.
In addition to her husband, Lewis Edmond Akin, of Eatonton, GA, she is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Akin of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Robert Akin and wife Melissa of Greensboro, NC and James Akin and wife Tracy of Noblesville, IN; two sisters, Betty Regan of Birmingham, AL and Pat Bagby of Rome, GA; and five grandchildren, Kayla Akin, Courtney Akin, Morgan Akin, Harrison Akin and Briggs Akin.
