Angella Jean Hart Smith

Angella Jean Hart Smith of Eatonton, GA, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta , GA.  She was 43.  Born in Statesboro, GA she was the youngest daughter of the late Arthur Harvey and Ethel Jenkins Hart.  She grew up in Walton County and attended high school in Social Circle, GA.  On July 30, 1990 she married William Ray “Wally” Smith, Jr. She was the Deli Manager for Golden Pantry in Eatonton and had also worked for Walmart.  She enjoyed family gatherings and playing with her grandchildren.  Other activities that she enjoyed were fishing, dirt track racing and especially riding motorcycles.   Angella was a member of the Stars and Bars Riding Club.  

She is survived by her devoted husband of twenty-four years, William Ray “Wally” Smith, Jr. of Eatonton, GA; a daughter, Anna Lee Hutchison and husband David of Eatonton, GA; a son, William Ray Smith, III of Eatonton, GA; four sisters, Bonnie J. McClain, Reda J. Walden, Alice J. Brett and Tammie J. Chance; three grandchildren, Caleb Zane Hynote, Bella Grace Turpin and Emberlynn Rose Hutchison; a number of other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel with Rev. Joe Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in the Buckhead Cemetery, Buckhead Road, Buckhead, GA 30625.  The family will receive friends Friday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home.  Serving as pallbearers are the members of the Stars and Bars Riding Club, Chris Bunn, Larry Hawkins, Donnie Sprayberry, J.
