Allie Landrum Obituary

Allie Ree Vaughn Landrum, age 90, of Greensboro, GA, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at Willow Run Retirement Home. She was born on August 7, 1916 in Clarke County to the late Issac and Fannie Mae Vaughn. She graduated from Athens High School. Mrs. Landrum was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Greshamville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Landrum in December of 2000.

She is survived by her children, June and Lynn McLeroy of Eatonton, GA, Joan and Joe Dunagan of Watkinsville, GA, Doug and Vonda Landrum of Bogart, GA, Nita and William Coleman of White Plains, GA and Linda Thompson of Statham, GA; grandchildren, Sarah and Trooper Teipel, Don McLeroy, Dee Dee Hallman, Stephanie McLeroy, Michael McLeroy, Kirk and Mindee Dunagan, Kendra and Matt King, Ellen and Dan Elder, India Landrum, James and Amy Coleman, Grant and Shelly Coleman, Allen and Kelly Coleman, Lydia Coleman, Lacie Coleman and Jake Thompson; great grandchildren, Ansley Teipel, Evan Teipel, Karen Dunagan, Chase Dunagan, Clayton Dunagan, Brandon McLeroy, Samantha McLeroy, Sumner Coleman, Emma Coleman and Daniel Elder; and a number of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Hal Vaughn and Walter Vaughn; a sister, Annelle Pettit; two grandchildren, Charles Brandon and Russell Lee Dunagan; and a great grandchild, Madison King.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Curtiss Moore officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Don McLeroy, Kirk Dunagan, James Coleman, Grant Coleman, Allen Coleman, Jake Thompson and Michael McLeroy. The family requests that any memorials be made to the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, P. O. Box 38, White Plains, GA 30678.
