Louie Allan Vandiver
Louie Allan Vandiver, age 42, of Greensboro, GA, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. Born in Greensboro, GA on July 5, 1974 he was the son of Joann Mize Vandiver and Louie Lee Vandiver of Greensboro, GA. Allan attended Greene County High School and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He worked for Tip Top Tree Service with his cousin Todd Vandiver. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting for arrow heads, cutting wood and driving his Uncle Darrell’s gator.
In addition to his mother and father, Louie and Joann Mize Vandiver of Greensboro, GA, he is survived by a daughter, Emilie Garcia; two sons, Preston Reynolds and Seth Reynolds; two sisters, LuAnn Vandiver Thornton and Jolene Fleeman (Byron); four brothers, John Vandiver, Thomas Hattaway, Corey Vandiver and Lee Vandiver; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at McCommons Chapel, 109 W. Broad Street, Greensboro, GA 30642 with Rev. Colin Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at McCommons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 3400 Penfield Road, Greensboro, GA 30642. Serving as pallbearers are Mack Manley, Paul Vandiver, Larry Lee Vandiver, Paul Thornton, Todd Vandiver and Stevie Gray. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
