A. F. Moseley

A. F. Moseley, age 75, of Union Point, GA died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at his home. Born on September 28, 1931 in Jasper County, Georgia, he was the son of the late A. F. Moseley and Ruby Agnes Arthur Moseley. He began his career working for Harvey McDonald at McDonald''s Grocery Store in Union Point and later worked for Chipman Union Manufacturing Company as a night watchman. He was a very faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Union Point where he was secretary of the Sunday School and sang in the choir.

He is survived by a daughter, Laurie Moseley Jones and husband Steve of Saluda, SC; a son, David Moseley and wife Mary Ann of Mitchell, GA; a granddaughter, Lauren Jones; a grandson, Philip Jones; and a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Moseley in 1958.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point with Rev. Leonard Ezell officiating. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
