I  can  remember working with Miss Grace at Union Point Elementary. She always had a Smile and Some Encouraging Words if there was a Problem. She was a True Friend to Me and I will Always Appreciate That!!

Grace would remember us as two of her OCHS Class of 1950 classmates, Bobby Harris and Annabelle Craft.  We became Bob & Ann Harris when we married 26 Dec. 1954.  Our class of 1950 enjoyed many high school reunions since graduation and we all attended if at all possible up through our 63rd time, and never once mixed our class with another class years reunion.  Grace could always be counted on to help organize and plan for each event.  She and Richard have been our dear friends for as long as we've known them, and we will miss both of them until we meet again in Heaven.  Our thoughts and prayers are with their family at this time.  Bob & Ann

We would like to extend our condolences to the family during this sad time. What has helped our family to cope with similar loss is the Bible's positive message. In it, our Heavenly Father assures us of his loving support, and he promises to reunite us with our dear loved ones (Psalm 34:18 and Acts 24:15). In the days to come, may these thoughts help to encourage your family. Take care.

All members of Alpha Theta send thoughts and prayers to the family. Grace was an active and loving member of Alpha Theta. She always greeted everyone with a smile and served us well as vice-president for several years. She was indeed a lovely lady, loved by all.

Mrs. Cook was my kindergarten teacher at union point elementary in 1982-1983. She was so kind and really made me feel like I was one of her own children. She made an everlasting impression and was one of my favorite teachers. I talk about her often and tell both my children about how special she was and what a great teacher she was.

Grace was a sweet and thoughtful lady. She was a dear Alpha Theta sister who I admired for her knowledge and grace. She was a great help to me as soon as I knew her. A wonderful friend !  She made a positive impact on everyone with her Southern charm. I am glad our paths crossed. She will be missed.

We met Grace when she became our children's school teacher. After that we were sure to stop on our Trick or Treat route as she always welcomed the kids to "scare" her with laughter of boo and songs of the season. She will truly be remembered for the education encouragement she gave her students.
