Terri and family.

How blessed Steve and I were to have known Tommy. He was one of a kind never to be duplicated.  His generosity to those he loved and charities he supported will always be remembered and honored.
Although we will miss his physical body, his spirit lives within us.
God bless you.

Terri, I was shocked to learn of Tommy's passing. I did not know he had been sick. If I had know I would have been praying for him and you and the kids. When Renee' told me I said, Well, that's Tommy. What better day to pass than on Breeder's Cup. He has the best seat in the house now." In the coming days if there is anything I can do, please let me know. I will be praying for you and kids and all of the extended families. May God send His Holy Spirit to comfort you and walk with you through this. Love Shann

Ligon Family,
With a sad heart, I send my message. I have known Tommy most of my life and my late husbands family was very close to the Ligons. I think Jeff's Daddy and Arnold met overseas during WWII. They quickly became best friends and Arnold suggested that Mr. Thomison bring his young family to Kentucky. That happened and the rest is history. At any rate, I'm so sorry to hear of Tommy's death and I will lift your family in prayer. I'm glad Tommy was a part of our MHS Class of 1966.

Tommy was very loving and kind toward his mother-in-law, Blon Burgess, as well as to my mother, Nell Edwards, her sister. He was devoted to his wife, Terri, and their children, Lauren and Conley. My deepest sympathy and love go out to all of them, to their families, to our extended family, and to Tommy's countless friends. May God bless and keep you all safely in the days ahead and throughout the future.  Love, Steve

Our best to all of the extended Ligon family. Tommy was always upbeat and a joy to be around. Aretta Bee and Bonnie had a loving home for Tommy and his brothers, and we miss being in that warm and welcoming place. Love to all.
