Frances, We cannot express how shocked and saddened we are by Jim's passing. He and Fred loved to talk each other. We will be unable to attend the funeral as we will be on a planned trip with our grandchildren. Again, we cannot begin to tell you how sorry we are. God bless you and your family, especially at this time.

You will be missed Jim. Thank you for befriending me and my family when we arrived at H.C. many years ago. Our fun time on the golf course will always be remembered, as will you my friend. My deepest sympathy to your entire family at their sad loss. R.I.P.

When we moved to the lake in 2000 you and Jim were about the only people we knew here!  Wish we would have gone out to dinner even more than we did!!!  I can not even begin to understand your feeling of loss.  Just know we are here should you need us.  Your fellow Hopkins teachers share with you their love and condolences.

Hi Francis,so sorry about one of my best and longest friends of nearly 50 years. We were buddies from the very first time we met. I am happy Jim came to Bishopville when Katherine and I were first married in 2013. My sisters both met Jim when he came to my Dad's funeral in 1987 and they, both, send their condolences as well. I will never forget him and I thank you for getting in touch.

Frances -
I was very sorry to hear the news that Jimmy had passed away. While working in the textile industry together for many years we shared more laughs and good times than I can even remember. He was an honest, fun loving, very kind man and he loved his family more than anything else.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Frances, Jim and my brother Gene were best friends growing up in Bennettsville and Lilyon and Ed were friends of our parents. Jim reached out to me in times of loss and was a real comfort. I was a great fellow and I know he leaves a big hole in your life.
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
