I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Fritz Zeck.  I graduated from Sandusky High School with him in the Class of 1959.  I will always remember him with a big smile on his face that exuded happiness.  It was a treat to talk to him.  My sincere sympathy to the family.  The SHS Class of 1959 will surely miss him.

"Mr. Fritz" was a great boss at Cooper Lighting. I worked at Westinghouse-Crouse Hinds-Cooper Lighting-Eaton in Vicksburg, MS until June 2016 almost completing my 50 years (July). I was the Customer Service Manager until Sales-service was moved to PTC in 1996. Mr. Fritz started the Customer First work ethic for us and we prospered.  Still have his newsletters and emails in my scrapbook and appreciated his guidance in Lighting.  Prayers for God's comfort and peace for his family.  Take care.

I am so sorry to hear of Fritz' passing. Fritz was a huge presence at Cooper throughout most of my tenure there early in my career. As a young professional, I coveted the few opportunities to impress him or learn from him. He taught me several valuable lessons about being a straight shooter, not taking one's self too simply, speaking plainly, and much more. Fritz made a huge mark on his company, the industry, and many many around him. We are all better for having had him in our lives for a time.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Fritz Zeck.  I have many fond memories of camping with his family as a child in our caravan of pop-up campers and communicating via "CB Radio" while traveling to our vacation destinations.

He was a kind and loving man and will be missed by many.

My love and blessings to Sandy, Laura, Adam, & their families.

With Much Love & Affection,

Bill Stovall

Sandy, so sorry to hear of Fritiz's passing.  I have many good memories of Fritz - he was always positive and upbeat - just all around great guy! Always honest, for example - while we were called "Metalux",  came back to work after a week of sick days with a thyroid issue - thought I was looking so much better - but to Fritz I looked as if I had "just been released from a concentration camp!"

Will be praying for you and the family.

I met Fritz was back in the late '70s when I worked at Metalux in sales, and later in graphics at the copywriter. The things I most remember about him are his big, booming voice, and that he was always smiling and seemed to really enjoy his work and his colleagues. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Sandy, so sorry to hear about Fritz.  I am lucky to have known and worked for Fritz.  I remember when he first came to Metalux.  He would always ask us if we had asked for the order!  I was on Stovall's team, but Fritz's team was always healthy competition; however, he was armed with Miss Metalux, Maggie Clure, and she was unstoppable.  Maggie thought the world of Fritz and I am sure that her wings were wide open when he made his transition.  Prayers for you and your family in your loss.  God Bless.

What a fine man.  Fritz was instrumental in helping us create our company, Lighting Dynamics, in 1991.  His support meant so much to us.  He was a great leader of Cooper Lighting.  Through his guidance and wisdom, he brought the company to the forefront of the industry.  He was a master of motivation.  I will never forget the great times we had at our sales meetings and trips. May he rest in peace.

God Bless,
Tony Plonner

I worked with Fritz back in the early days of Metalux when he bought Lumark in the door with him.  I was on his regional team, and totally admired and respected him.  We gave him a hard time but loved him dearly.  Sandy, my heart and prayers are with you and the kids.

Sharon and I were saddened to hear of your lose. We we think of the fun times shared in the south of France, Hawaii and home here in Canada's Maritimes.

We have a lot of great memories of our times with Cooper Lighting and Fritz was a part of our best times.

We have lost a great friend. Greg & Fritz began working together at Abolite Lighting in Ohio in 1966 or 1967. Fritz & Sandy were married in June of 1967 and Greg & I in August. We had many good times together over the years. Prayers for peace to Sandy, Laura and Adam and the grandchildren.
