I knew Betty through the Cotton Boll Quilt Guild and later the Healing Hugs quilt ministry in Covington.  She was a talented and gracious lady.  My sympathies go to her family and friends.

Edith, Myra, and Andrea:

I was so saddened to hear the news about your mother. "Miss" Betty was such a sweet person, and I remember many wonderful times in her company.   Each of you will be in my prayers in the days to come.  Losing your mother is one of the most difficult times in your life, as I can attest.
May you find strength and courage in God's amazing love.

Dear Edith, Myra, Andrea, and families,
Your Mother brought much joy to our lives and we shall miss her!  She was like a "second" mother to Kay and Kay has many fond memories of visiting your home. We remember the beautiful birthday cake that Kay dropped before it was even cut and served. We, also, cherish the happy days when your Grandparents and Aunt Carol came to visit Mama and Papa and us! All of you are dear to us.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  Please let us know if we can help with anything!
with love,
Maner, Marjorie and family

Betty took me to my first quilt guild meeting, for which I am eternally grateful.  I loved having her as a neighbor and a mentor.  I'll bet Doris Hicks was glad to see her.
Much love and sympathy to her girls.  Best regards, Page.
