Dear Susie,
Kris and I were brokenhearted when we heard about Tom's passing. I well remember the day we met at the highway stop. Kris said there's Susie and Tom. I looked up and here were two big smiles walking right at us. You two have made our lives all the more enjoyable and worthwhile even during such a short period. Tom will be greatly missed. He was one of a kind. And an Upstater to boot. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.  John & Kris

To the Fricano family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies over the loss of your husband and father. Tom was one of the finest labor leaders I ever met. He provided intelligent and humane guidance that inspired workers beyond the boundaries of his beloved UAW. In part for that reason, his 1996 congressional campaign, waged in a very tough district, received the enthusiastic support of many union members. Tom was a fine, fine man and a true privilege to know.

All of organized labor is indebted to Tom for the many years of wonderful leadership that he provided to working people.

In sympathy,

Thomas M. Grace

Susie, Tom, David, Vinnie & Sam; to all the Fricano clan.
We were deeply saddened by the passing of a dear friend, going back into our days in Silver Creek.  Words can not properly express our sympathy and the empty hearts we feel for all of you.
Your deep faith in the LORD is your strength to get you through this sudden end to a life that has touched so many people, including our own experience in a similar situation not to many years ago.  Both Susie, & Tom stood beside our family, along with Vinnie, Don & Sam.  That support becomes stronger in our lives as we grow older.
Above all, the LORD has called Tom home, without long suffering.  Tougher on the family, but GOD is so gracious He gets all of use through.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you Susie, and the entire Fricano family.
We send our love, Charlotte & John

Susie and family,
We were so sorry to hear about Tom's passing.  Tom was one of the most important mentors that Tim had in the UAW and will forever be in his debt for the knowledge and experiences that Tom shared with Tim.

One of the greatest experiences of Tim's life was to be on the convention floor in 1996 in Chicago as Tom addressed the convention delegates as the congressional candidate from the 27th District in New York.

We will both miss him and want the family to know you are all in our thoughts and prayers

Dearest Susie,
As you already know, everyone at the American Labor Museum loved, admired and respected Tom. There is no one more special and caring than Tom. He was a loyal friend of the museum's and we will always remember him in our hearts. May you find comfort in the fond memories shared through your loving marriage. Always remember that both science and religion agree that a person's energy can never be destroyed. Embrace his energy. He is and always will be with you. God bless you and give you strength.
With love, Angelica Santomauro

To Mrs. Fricano and her family,
My deepest sympathy on the passing of Tom. He did God's work in our community. I was fortunate enough to know Tom because I was a volunteer (I helped organize our plant.) I was also a volunteer in Tom's run for Congress, and
the Variety Club Telephone.

The work that Tom accomplished is a tribute to his memory.
