I have many fond memories of Mrs. Brook.  I remember as a child she would fry okra and put it in a brown paper bag and Mike "Hook" and I  would get on our bikes and ride around Greensboro and go to  the Methodist and swing and eat fried okra!!
She was always there for all of us when we came home and would fry up some scrambled eggs, buttered toast and crispy bacon!  What a Great Mom she was to all of us!
She will always hold a very special place in my heart,
Sincerely.
Ricky

Thank you all so much for the sweet things you all have said about our mom.. She was, indeed,a very sweet, caring person. She,as someone said at her memorial, did treat our friends as her own too. We all appreciate our dear old friends who attended her memorial. What a joy to see those familiar faces. And my sisters' friends, who so graciously served the family a wonderful lunch.   God Bless You All
