Dear Lilli and family, I was so sorry to learn of Peggy's death. I was reading the obituary for Dave O'Keefe, and saw your mom's name. She was a very wonderful person, with a great wit, and wonderful smile. She was very intelligent and got very frustrated with her disease. Please know you are in my prayers. Love ya, Cecelia

The community and Career Services' profession have lost a great person with the death of Peggy Gardner. She touched numerous lives in a positive and caring manner. While there are no jobless persons for Peggy to assist where she now goes, there will be many for whom she has already provided assistance. Farewll, Miss Peggy.

Dear Lilli, Max and Families, So sorry to hear about Peggy's passing. She was a wonderful woman with a beautiful smile. I especially remember the delicious Bananna Split cake she used to make and send to the office when your dad worked for Chipman-Union. May God bless you all. Sincerely, Gail and Gene Lindsey

Lilli and Max, Your mom was a special, special lady to Connie and me. I enjoyed speaking with you today, Lilli and with your Aunt Cindy. I was going to stand and say something but when the second pastor invited family members to make comments and never extended it to friends and former colleagues I felt I should keep my seat! Suffice it to say that she made a big impact on our lives and she will live on in our hearts.

Who could ever forget that incredible smile and can-do spirit? Peggy touched many lives. She mentored many including me. I shall never forget her kindness and support as I struggled through some very difficult professional times. She was more than a co-worker...she was a true friend and ally. Her courage inspired me. I am so grateful to have known her and to know she called me friend.

Peggy was such a beautiful person! I will never forget her mentoring me when I first came to Atlanta. She helped me with my resume, went shopping with me, and gently guided me into my dream job at Delta. I will always be grateful. She was a lovely person and her spirit will be missed! Thank you Peggy I will never forget you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
