I want to express my sympathy to Mrs. Freeman's family. She was my fifth grade teacher at Union Point Elementary School. That was in 1959. My mother and father, Malcolm and Mary Callaway, thought the world of her, too.

Valerie, Larry and Family, Ms. Augusta was dear to us. She was such a lovely, caring, brilliant, level headed, down to earth person and always gave us "the best" advice. She was so kind and good to Aunt Lena and Aunt Nelie. She had so much patience with elderly people. Aunt Lena loved Ms. Augusta and talked for hours about the wonderful Christmas dinners each year with your family. Siloam was never the same after Ms. Augusta left. You, Larry and her grandchildren were her joy. We shall miss her always With love, Maner, Marjorie and Family

I have great memories of viisting Ms. Augusta and playing with the grandchildren when they came home. We had so much fun in that big, beautiful house in Siloam. I always loved the pond. Ms. Augusta was always so kind and encouraging. She was a great listener too. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Tina Marie

One of the sweetest teachers I have ever known. Went to school in Union Point, and Mrs. Freeman was my fifth grade teacher. I can relate to your loss. You cannot replace a loved one. (I just lost my Mother in August 2009). May peace be with you.
