To the family of Martha Cummins, we are so sorry for your loss. We enjoyed, many years ago, playing in couples golf tournaments at the country club with her and Mr. Daryle. They were both very good friends to us over the years and will be greatly missed. We will keep you in our prayers.

Melissa, We are all so sorry for your loss. Ms. Martha was such a vital part of the Higdon House. Not seeing her on that porch for each wedding is going to be really hard on all of us for a while. She was loved by all. All of the staff of "At Your Service" sends its love and prayers to your entire family.

Melissa, take comfort knowing your mom had to be proud of you and who you are. In the short time I have known you, you had to be a great daughter just like you are a friend. Our deepest sympathies...

As your Grandpa Cummins used to sing, "This world is not my home, I'm just traveling through". Your Mother has gone home, and she will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with 'all of you' at this difficult time.

My first memories of my Aunt Martha are the trips to Illinios for Thanksgiving holiday. She always called me "critter". I always enjoyed visiting her and Uncle Daryl and the time spend with my cousins. A few months ago on my way from South Carolina I stopped by Union Point and spend a few hours with her just talking and enjoying the time I was with her. I will miss and always love Aunt Martha, and just remember, I will always be your "critter". Love, Jessy Eslick

Melissa and family, Martha was certainly my best "10th Street" friend!! We had such great times together and she was always willin to watch my brats for me!! I will never forget the time we bonked Katlyn in the head moving a twin bed to our new house in the country. She probably needed stiches, but we just taped her shut and kept on moving! Will miss her greatly, and my thoughts are with you and your family... Beth Coats

Mom, I have no idea what I am going to do without you. You were always there for me no matter what. I find myself going to pick up my phone to call you and realize that you aren't there. :"( You were and always will be the BEST MOM anyone could ask for!! I can only hope that I am half the mother that you were. Give dad a big hug from all of us and we will see both of you again one day.
