I am sad to hear about the unexpected death of my aunt Mary. I was out-of-town and did not hear of her death until I returned this evening. Mom does not feel that she can handle another trip to Georgia so soon. She's still not recovered from the funeral of Sarah Mae. Please know that our thoughts are with you and that we are with you in prayer.

"Miss" Mary always meant a lot to me. Last year I took my mother out to visit Mary and Malcolm. We had a wonderful time looking at all the special things they had done around their farm. They seemed to enjoy sharing all those details with us. Mary kept up with my children as they've gone through college and let me know she was keeping up with them. That really meant a lot to me. She was a special part of my early life, and I was glad I reunited with her and Mr. Malcolm in the last few years. Kittie and Beth, my sympathy goes to you. You know I love you and share your sorrow. With love, Paula

I always enjoyed talking to Miss Mary and she always supported us as kids when we sold things for NGA. It is a great loss for the community.
