In the last year I have known you, you have touched my families lives in ways that are hard to explain. We met at Powertrak training in Raleigh, NC and quickly became great friends. I had trouble learning the ins and outs of this company and you were always a phone call away. Always there to help with any problems I had. Ours was a long distance relationship, but I know you are right here with me. You will be missed, my Friend. My fellow Irishman.

Jimmy was a close friend. We served in Iraq and Atlanta together. He was always upbeat and never let the stresses of daily life get in the way of a good laugh. Although I know he is in a better place now, I am deeply sorry for your loss and will miss him dearly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jim and breaking bread with him and our Eaton colleagues this June when in Atlanta. My first impression was of a fine, likeable young man. I very much liked him immediately. Since working with him over the last few months he continued to give me reason to feel that way. He would quite often add "Thank you for all you do for us" at the end of an e-mail...which seemed so unwarranted especially in comparison of what he did for us in his sacrice of serving our country. But, it did speak of his genuine appreciation and courtesy for others. Someone, as my Mom would have said, who was "raised right". Words are so empty at such a heartbreaking loss. I do hope, however, that knowing that Jim was so appreciated by so many people offers some solice and that his children grow to embrace that knowledge one day. Thank you for sharing your gift of Jim with us. God Bless.

Words can not begin to express my feelings and thoughts... My heart truly goes out to Jim's parents, Jim's wife, Amy and his children, as well as all of those that Jim had touched in their own lives. In the short time that I have worked with Jim he had become an integral part of our team here in Atlanta. He was a joy to work with an excellent work ethic. Jim you will be missed.

Words can not begin to express the deep sense of loss we feel here at Eaton's Customer Reliability Center. From day one Jim was outstanding technician with a "can do" response to service. He was always friendly and I could imagine he never met a stranger. Over the past year I have spoken with Jim countless times a week, but never had an opportunity to meet him face-to-face. It is sad to think that my first opportunity to put a name with a face came through an email announcing Jim's passing. My sincere condolences go out to his family during their time of loss. My prayers are that God strengthens you during this time.

Amy and children, I didn't know your husband nor you nor any of your family, but my daughter-in-law has communicated with you on Atlanta Momma's message board. She was touched by your loss and asked that I pray for you and your family. The fact that my son was in the Marines and spent some time in Iraq makes us "kindred spirits" on this Veterans' Day. My heart goes out to you and your family and I'm praying that God will comfort you and give you peace in your heart during this difficult time. Jesus is always available to us.

To Jim's parents, you raised a fine strong man. To his wife and children, a real American hero. I bartender at the Comfort Suites in Raleigh were Jim would stay during training for Eaton/Powerware. I loved his stores about fighting in Iraq and his never ending knowledge about cars. Not to mention his passion for football. He is my buddy. He will not be forgotten.

RIP, Jim. I hold many fond memories of the short time we shared as friends. You will be missed. To all family, I am deeply apologetic for your loss. I cannot begin to imagine the void you must now feel in your lives. It was too soon for such a promising man with so much life to live. To his wife and children, I am additionally sorrowful. The very thought of losing my wife or father so early torments me. My thoughts are with you all and may you overcome this tragedy the best as can be expected.

Alan & Sheila, our deepest condolences are with you; we can't even imagine the pain and loss you all are feeling. Andy, we are so so sorry. Amy, we are confident you will have the family support to deal with your tragic loss. To say we were shocked when we read the paper is an understatement; we just regret we didn't know in time to pay our respects at the service. Jimmy was a bright light with an infectious personality. That light will not burn out quickly - it will shine through his children. Please know our deepest sympathy is with you all. Rest in Peace, Jimmy.

All of the Bechtols- I wish that I could explain how much all of you mean to me, and how great of a friend that Jimmy was to me through all of the years. He will never be forgotten, and he and all of you will always be a part of my life. I wish you all the best in your time of need. If there is anything that I can do to help, if even just to talk, feel free to give me a call any time, day or night. Pat and Jamie Erbacher

I had the pleasure of attending a training class for Eaton with Jim in San Diego. Although I only had a week to be around him, I was immediately taken with him and his thirst for life, family and friends. I learned of Jim's untimely death this morning and am deeply saddened to hear about it. My deepest sympathies go out to Amy and the kids. I know from just the short time I was around Jim of how much he loved to ride and I feel his same passion for it. RIP Jim, God is watching over you now.

we both understand where we all come from and what our purpose is, to all our memories that only you and i will ever share, and as a veteran of some political bullshit you and i both experienced together, may i see you on the other side, " drink to the foam, until we meet again here's wishing you a happy voyage home." I love you brother. may the higher powers watch over your family and relatives.
