Dear Billy and Eric, So sad to hear of Mary Jean's passing. She was so sweet and so special. I will never forget our "chats" together after Caroline passed away, and we miss her every day. Mary Jean embraced us like family. We will miss her, but know that she is in a better and painless place. Eric, I lost my Mama in 1996...it hurts. We are here for you and your Dad. Our love to the entire family. Sincerely, Susan, Henry, Brittany and Jules

Oh my gosh, I just learned of Mary Jean's death and I am so devastated! Billy, I will miss her so much as I know you will and I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very special, special lady and I had no idea she was in this bad of shape from that horrible disease! Herb and I give you all our love and will see you tonight.

Dear Eric and Mr. Billy, I can't tell you how heartbroken I was to hear that we had lost "Momma Jean." Please know that Maria and I send you our love and that you will be in our prayers. The Ashley family adopted me early in life and for that I will always be grateful. I will never forget all the wonderful trips to Athens, Daytona Beach, and all of times you invited me into your home. Momma Jean believed in me long before I believed in myself. She always told me that she expected big things from me. She always told me that I had the talent to do whatever I wanted to do in life. She was right, of course. Momma Jean was always right. I hope I made you proud. Tony

Never easy to lose a wife/a mother/a loved person/a grandmother/who is the head of the family unit. This is the person who keeps the Glue together keeping the entire clan together for all-important gatherings within the family unit… To keep the lines of communications open for all members of the family… for each generation to know and realize how important each person truly is to each person. Now this lovely gesture just drops to the eldest in the family of children. or to the person who has the greatest gift of keeping the lines of communications open with all members of the immediate families. May the Lord Keep You together over these next few months as you gather your life to restart over again, alone. It will not be easy, however, if you ask GOD to help you will not have any difficultly in doing so…for it is truly amazing how GOD works wonders in our daily lives. With your lovingly family and close friends I am quite sure you will find the strength to continue to live a normal life, a little different granted, however you will still find new enlivenment in your daily routine of life once again. Just remember GOD does works wonder when we least expect an event to happen in our daily lives. Remember to always put YOUR Trust in HIS Hands daily, & GOD will still work wonders for you… sincerely yours Constance & Herbert Algermissen

Mrs. Mary Jean was so dear to so many. Always had something nice to say. I have memories of trick or treating when I was small, then she always wanted me to bring my sons by on Halloween too. Enjoy you memories of such a sweet and caring lady. Bless you all.

Mr. Billy & Eric, Mrs. Mary Jean was such a dear person to our entire family. I have remembered so many memories from my childhood where she was an integral part. Friendships that last a lifetime are not to be taken for granted. They are a gift. Mama and Daddy loved her deeply and felt deeply loved by her. I feel grateful to have witnessed and shared in that friendship. We grieve with you. With Love, Ralph Boswell

Eric, Please know how much we are thinking of you and your family during these difficult days. Our only encounter with your mother was in the chemo doctor's office, when she was first diagnosed. Amid all that she was going through, she was a gracious, kind and thoughtful lady to all around her. Simply meeting her on that day was an inspiration that we will cherish always. What a remarkable lady she must have been. Our prayers are with you.
