Dear Pet and Bill, I am so sorry for your loss. Gilly was such a sweet person. I use to enjoy sitting and talking with him at Holcomb's when he came up there to see us. May God be with and comfort you. Carlene, Amanda and Dan Noggle

My heart was saddened to hear about Gilly. He was so precious and loved everyone and showed it so well. He has a lot to "catch-up" on in Heaven, seeing everyone and reuniting with loved ones. I know my daddy, Claude Dreyer, will be glad to see him. Our family thought a lot of Gilly and how strong he was with the difficulties he had. My prayers and thoughts are going out to each of you. I shall miss him.

Pet and Bill, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of our 'GILLY'. Gilly loved for friends to stop by and carry him to ride on Sunday afternoons. We enjoyed it as much as Gilly. When I would be down that way he was so excited to see me and always knew who I was. I loved to listen to him tell about happenings from 40-50 years ago. I'll always remember our GHS graduation in 1964. My sympathies and condolencies.

Gilly was so special to so many. He touched my life by coming to the court house and spending time. He usually was looking for a snack and he knew where I kept them. I have missed him while he has been in Greene Point, but I will always have a special memory of him. God Bless all the family at this sad time. With Sympathy, Tammy Underwood

Dear Bill and Pet, We were so sorry to learn of Gilly's passing. I saw him on Sunday when I gave him a lap blanket from the Loving Lappers of First Baptist Union Point. He asked my name and I told him and he remembered me. He was always faithful to call my Aunt Myrt and my mother Lois to check on them when they were home alone. Heaven has a special person today. Gail

Gilly will be missed by everyone. He always had always had a smile and kind words for everyone he meet. His "special innocence", will be missed by all, may God be close with the family through this trying time.

Iam very sorry for your loss. I went to school with Gilly back in the early sixty's. I used to walk Gilly to class. I moved away in 1963 and have missed seeing him ever since. He was an inspiration in my life. I regret not trying to contact him after moving away. He will be dearly missed.

Lord has taken himself a very deserving angel. I am what many of you would refer to as a youngster, however I remember Gilly beaming with pride as he walked around town and can still see him standing at my grandma's (Margaret Lindsey) back porch as she walked her dog (Bussey) around the yard. She couldn't get out that mush and he would come and talk to her about who all he had seen and about what was going on in town because he knew she wasn't able to get to town. He kept her informed and he would pass on her hello's to others that he would go and visit. He would get his fill of talk and off he would go. I will cherish those memories for years to come and hope you keep your prized memories of him close to your heart.
