Morris' passions in life was family, friends, racing, fishing, traveling and last but not least Georgia Southern Football! He was instrumental in restarting the football program at Georgia Southern. When I met Coach Fred Shaver of Southeast Bulloch High, I was still a student at Georgia Southern. I do believe Morris Lupton was the FIRST person Coach Fred introduced me to in Brooklet. His son, Billy, played for Fred on the first state championship SEB football team. To say Morris Lupton was a supporter would be a vast understatement. And as he helped build the Southeast Bulloch program, he helped Georgia Southern, his businesses and countless people around him live better lives. I won't be able to attend the funeral service, but please know that Morris Lupton is beloved and respected by many, and his absence will be keenly felt.
