Tommy and his wife, Terri, have been residents of Greensboro for twelve years, but have been coming to Greensboro and Lake Oconee for over 30 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir.

Terri, I was shocked to learn of Tommy's passing. I did not know he had been sick. If I had know I would have been praying for him and you and the kids. When Renee' told me I said, Well, that's Tommy. What better day to pass than on Breeder's Cup. He has the best seat in the house now." In the coming days if there is anything I can do, please let me know. I will be praying for you and kids and all of the extended families. May God send His Holy Spirit to comfort you and walk with you through this. Love Shann

Ligon Family,
With a sad heart, I send my message. I have known Tommy most of my life and my late husbands family was very close to the Ligons. I think Jeff's Daddy and Arnold met overseas during WWII. They quickly became best friends and Arnold suggested that Mr. Thomison bring his young family to Kentucky. That happened and the rest is history. At any rate, I'm so sorry to hear of Tommy's death and I will lift your family in prayer. I'm glad Tommy was a part of our MHS Class of 1966.
