Sedilla Louise Weems Louden, age 66, of Greensboro, GA, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness.  Born December 25, 1949 in Whitesboro, Texas, Louise was the daughter of the late Louis Jason Weems of Whitesboro, TX and Sedilla Ann Chaffin Weems of Oklahoma City, OK.  She graduated from Texas Tech in 1970, attended University of Kansas and graduated from Highlands University in 1980.  On September 25, 1971 she married Edgar Wright Louden, Jr. at SMU Chapel.  In 2007 they moved to Reynolds at Lake Oconee where they were both Realtors for Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty.  More than anything else, she enjoyed her family and shared with them her love for pets, golf, food, wine and many activities. They traveled extensively, visiting places all over the world and forty-nine of our fifty states.

In addition to her husband, Ed Louden, Jr. of Greensboro, GA, survivors include two sons, Russell Copeland Louden of Los Angeles, CA and Ryan Wright Louden of Bend, OR; two sisters, Ronnye Dunn and Martha Robinson both of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Joseph Weems, James Weems, and Edgar Frank Weems all of Whitesboro, TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Louis J. Weems.

Per her wishes no local services will be held; instead, she asked for those who would have attended her funeral to dedicate that same time to their own family.

To Those I Love

If I should ever leave you
whom I love
To go along the Silent Way,
grieve not,
Nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk
Of me as if I were
beside you there.
(I’d come—I’d come,
could I but find the way!
But would not tears and grief
be barriers?)
And when you hear a song
or see a bird
I loved, please do not let
the thought of me
Be sad…For I am
loving you just as
I always have…
You were so good to me!
There are so many things
I wanted still
To do—so many things
to say to you…
Remember that I
did not fear…It was
Just leaving you
that was so hard to face…
We cannot see Beyond…
But this I know:
I loved you so—’twas heaven
here with you!
