Dear Gloria, Eddie, Margie and Jamie,

I have such great memories of Ewing and will never forget his contagious laugh! I know myself and all the Carter's are going to greatly miss him. What a life well lived and wonderful example to be happily married to your sweetheart over 55 years! I am praying for God to wrap His loving arms around you and all of your family during this difficult time. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal...I am thankful he is healed. I wish I could be there with Stuart Saturday, but Gavin and I will already be in CR. I will be with you in thought and prayer and hope to see you all soon. Please let us know if you have any needs we can help with.

With Sympathy, Love and Blessings,
Kim Carter Magill

Dearest Gloria, Eddie, Margie, Jamie and grandchildren,

Our hearts go out to you as you grieve your loss. It is so hard to lose the love of your life who is your husband, dad and grandad. Ewing was one of the finest men we have ever known and I have known him and my wonderful friend Gloria since we were just babies. We grieve with you and want you to know how much we love your family. Really impressed how you have stood by your Mom and Nana's side.

Ewing is in heaven watching over everyone of you with his great love for each of you.

Much love always,
Brenda and Jim Watson

Kristin and I are heartbroken to hear of Ewing's passing.

Gloria, we stopped by ColdwellBanker about 16 or so years ago - looking for a lake map. It was soon that we were engaged in an epic property search filled with joy and laughter with you both...boating and driving and hunting for the perfect place.

The location you selected for us we have built our home ... filled with love and dogs and shared with many friends and family. It's perfect.

Ewing - and you- have been a huge, positive influence on our lives.

Dear Mrs. Hunter, Eddie, Margie, Jamie,

I am sad to know that Mr. Hunter, Ewing, has passed away. I wish I could have been there today to hug all of you. I have so many fond memories of him and all of you. I spent so much time at your house and you were all so kind to me and treated me like family. I remember riding to Eddie's baseball games and listening to country music. I remember working at FAF and eating taco salad with Doritoes. I can remember Ewing always smiling and being happy. I could go on and on with my memories of Ewing and the entire Hunter family because there are so many. Just know, that I was forever changed by watching him give without expecting anything in return and his kind spirit. I will continue to pray for all of you.

Dear Gloria and family,
Jimmy and I were so sorry to hear about Ewing. I regret that we have failed to get together with you all in the time since we moved to Eatonton. We still have the lake house on the property that you and Ewing found for us. We built another house in the same subdivision about four years ago and are permanent residents. We'd love to see you, Eddie, Jamie, and Margie, so let's try to get together in the near future. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,
Nan and Jimmy Harpole

Dear Gloria
Yesterday I was informed of your loss, everyones loss of Ewing. I was visiting with Randy Dillon at his home here in Tucker... Almost a stones throw from FAF and your old residence for the most part. I stated to Randy how glad I was to have seen you and Ewing at the FAF reunion. I spent almost every moment that day with your husband and his tales of Africa. (This so many years ago as an employee was a technique I had mastered to divert Ewing from inquiring about me not making him any money...Just mention Africa.) I was reminded that my closing words with Ewing that day were that in spite of any motive I had that I have always found him to be absolutely fascinating, One of the very few people I listen to when they are talking to me. He responded with never having thought I actually was listening. He was a great guy and I am truley sorry for your loss. Id like to say also that you and Ewing both were participants in a time of my life which are fantastic memories. I hope you can find comfort and joy in the same. My heart goes out to you and as some things never change ...Im a little late.
