The task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you. Doug will always be remembered by the smile on his face and his witty personality. He was a great friend and he was always there willing to help any way he could. He often talked about his family especially his grand children. He told us of his trip to the beach and how much that meant to him. We never heard Doug complain of his pain that he must have endured. Remember all the good times with Doug and one day we will see him again. Go rest high my friend. Love and Prayers to all.

Our time spent with Doug and the Huff family on Dennis Street will always hold a special place in our hearts. Those fond memories bring smiles to our faces and often a chuckle or two about something Doug said or did. He was truly an uplifting spirit to be around and will be missed tremendously by so many.

I did not see Doug often, especially in the last few years, but when I did see him he always had that big smile. We did not have much to say to each other, just "Hey, how are you? Good to see you", but he always seemed happy to see me. I always felt that he really was and I left with a smile. Sweet memories.
