My most sincere sympathy for your loss. I have such great memories of Wally from the late 1980s in Stone Mountain. I can vividly remember one of the best days of my teenage years being the day the Rodgers Family allowed me to accompany them to a "exclusive access" day at Six Flags Over Georgia sponsored by a supplier for the grocery store. Wally made this little neighbor kid feel like a rock star that day and kept us all in stitches with his humor about how "wide-eyed" we were about getting to ride all the rides with no waiting in lines. Truly a wonderful man. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
