Dear Lee & Family, Franklin loved Mr. Francis and he was always a good friend to us. After Franklin died he stopped by city hall to make sure I was okay. When he left he had tears in his eyes just talking about Franklin. I pray that God will give you all strength, comfort and peace in the days to come. You all are in my prayers.

I'm so very sorry to learn of Francis' death, right on the heels of his brother's death. My deepest condolences go to his immediate family as well as the entire Byce family. May he Rest in Peace. He was always kind to me as a youngster, tho' he was nearer in age to both my brother, Daniel Oliver and sister Virginia Oliver.

To Christine and family,
One look at the picture of Francis says it all, What a NICE man and always smiling! He always teased me whether it be at Farmers Feed & Seed or church about something but I loved it. I will miss him and I know his family will. I would have never guessed he was 85! Funny story: he and I both left church early one Sunday because a preacher went on too long...we met in the parking lot and fussed about that. We had a lot in common but he was one content and happy man. Our thoughts and prayers have been with you knowing he was in the hospital and they are with you now in this time of loss.

Such sad news. Francis was a lovely man, always welcoming me at the feed store with the brightest smile and with genuine interest. He was the perfect gentleman, and so very kind, yet always had that twinkle. I certainly will miss him.
