Gloria, Kevin, Michael, and Todd:
Chris and I worked together at GEC for over 11 years. Chris was a valued friend and co-worker. He was instrumental in making GEC what it is today and led us in many directions that I never thought possible. He was always the first to work, and never had anything but a smile on his face. He was a very humble but strong leader at GEC. His positive attitude, hard work ethic, and loyalty to GEC will be severely missed. My prayer for you is that the Peace of God, which does pass all understanding, will engulf your family during this time. I pray for nothing but great memories and that you can feel his presence and continued influence on your life. Chris was a great man, and his love for family was evident in all that he did.

I do not know exactly what to say at this time. I have MANY fond, happy memories I spent with Chris on our Meadowcreek Band trips. I still hear his crazy laugh and remember his big smile! Chris thought the world of his sons and Gloria. He will be missed but is in a much better place.
Love you all,
Vicki Pinson

Chris Herrick was an incredibly dedicated band parent, through and through. He was at every football game, every festival, every trip, and every concert... helping load and unload equipment, and helping out wherever he was needed... which, in large part, is a pretty thankless job. He was very much a "behind the scenes" kind of band parent... and a lot of our success is due to selfless people like him. He was extremely loved and will be sorely missed by all the lives he touched.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I know words do little at a time like this, but I just wanted to share a few promises, from the Bible, that have always given me hope when coping with the loss of a loved one. May these words bring you a measure of comfort and assure you of God's unmatched love. Job 14:14,15; Isaiah 25:8,9; Revelation 21:3-5

I know none of the readers will have on idea whom I am, but I have worked with Chris for about 6 years with Winter Environmental at Georgia Power Plant Scherer . I am so sadden to learned of his passing this morning and wanted to express my sympathy to his family and friends. He always had a smile, worked hard, love his family and was simply to be fun around. I know words will ever fill the void but I hope some of these thoughts might let you know Chris was a great guy and very respected.
