Eleanor Louise Williford Bentley

Eleanor Louise Williford Bentley, age 70, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA.  She was born in Washington, GA on June 26, 1944 to the late William D. “Bill” Williford and Effie Saxon Williford.  She graduated from Union Point High School and on June 1, 1962 Louise married Milo Bentley.  She worked for IGA in Sparta and Lord’s, but most of her life she was a homemaker.  She loved shopping at Walmart and growing flowers.

She is survived by her husband James Milo Bentley of White Plains, GA; a son, Billy Bentley of White Plains, GA; and numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Callaway Chapel with Rev. Dennis Garner officiating.  The family will receive friends, Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at Callaway Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Rhodes Street, Union Point, GA  30669.  Serving as pallbearers are Tad Bentley, David Dunagan, Matt Bentley, Mark Bentley, Mike Pettett and Justin  Bentley.  Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N. Dear Mr. Milo & Billy,

I am so sorry about Mrs. Louise. I loved her dearly and she made my life better for having known her. I will be praying that God will give you strength, comfort, hope and peace during this time. Heaven is a little brighter now.
