I am so saddened to learn of Hamp's death. So many memories come flooding in. He was such a funny man and always had Jackie, Jillyn, and myself laughing at his stories. I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope you know that I will keep you in my prayers. I know that God is holding all of you next to His heart and Hamp is standing with Him in Heaven. Take care of yourselves and we are here for your needs. All of our love.

Aunt Betty, Bonnie & Hannah,
Even though I don't get back East to visit very often, my Georgia relatives are in my heart & on my mind often. I'm sorry to hear of Uncle Hamp's passing & I hope that all your wonderful memories of him & your lives together will help to carry you through. My mom always told great stories of their time growing up together in the family home, gathering pecans from the trees on the property, playing in the front yard & on the big front porch, catching candy from the train. I always thought of Uncle Hamp & Uncle JK as my handsome Southern-talking uncles. I loved hearing their accents! My thoughts are with you all.
Love,
Jayne (Luan's youngest)
