I was so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. It has been many years since I have seen him, but I have some fond memories of my distant cousin. He was always such a sweet person and always made you feel welcome when you went to the Barnes home. I know he will be missed by many. All of his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear family, So sorry to hear the sad news. Please know that you are in our prayers. I grew up in U.P. and played basketball and baseball under Mr. Cooper and with Frank. I use to go to his home often when in school just to visit. I knew all the brothers and sisters and thought the world of all them. I graduated in 1955 and went to Piedmont College. God bless all of you. Reid Mullins

Donna and I are so sad that Frank has passed. He was a very good person. I will always remember how he would take time, especially with young people, to not only share technical knowledge but to help instill a positive hope for their future. I worked for him for when I was young and his influence on me has made a difference in my life. God bless you all.
